Sanctuary

You are so good at these. And seem to be getting better and better. I love how you tie the title into the poem, I think that is something that people sometime overlook. You once again do a good job of saying so much in such a short amount of words. When you say "Lock the doors" I immediately think of someone shutting themselves in their sanctuary...shutting everything ELSE out, so it can't get in. That is reinforced with the next line. "keep IT away". I like that you capitalize It, it really reinforces that this person doesn't want whatever 'it' is, inside this special place. I almost imagine someone being manic and just shutting themselves inside, away from the world out there in fear of it tainting this sanctuary they have. I loved this. I can't even say anything bad. Well done dear!
